Designing loyalty that delivers
Redesigned Recharge's loyalty offering to help merchants retain subscribers and incentivize one-time buyers to convert to subscribers. Hit 35% merchant adoption against a 12% goal (nearly 3x target), with 1M+ customers rewarded and 47.55% retention after the third order, above the 31% industry benchmark.
Driving design strategy to reduce churn
Redesigned Jungle Scout's browser extension used by 450K sellers. Monthly churn dropped 13%, product tracking rose 17%, and filter usage climbed 9%.
Upgrading Review Automation
Upgraded Jungle Scout's Review Automation tool for Seller Central. Sellers using the feature were 89% less likely to churn; one customer grew from 355 reviews to 2,000+ in seven months after adoption.
My process
Discovery: Listen first. It's common for me to go around the room, asking questions, chatting with stakeholders, taking notes, before I put pen to paper. Claude, Figma Make, and Stitch speed up the synthesis.
Define and design: Alignment over pixels. I use brainstorming tools and exercises to get the team on the same page. If the team isn't arguing about the right problem, no amount of UX can save it.
Know when to drop the process. The best outcomes come from knowing when to follow the framework, and when to walk away from it.
