Redesigned Recharge's canvas builder as a guided setup flow, cutting same-session drop-off from 38% to 9% (4.2x reduction). Currently the default pattern across Recharge's offering, replacing the canvas builder entirely.
Loyalty that keeps subscribers through their next order
Rebuilt Recharge Loyalty from the ground up to help merchants retain subscribers. Hit 35% merchant adoption against a 12% goal (nearly 3x target), with 1M+ customers rewarded and 48% retention after the third order.
Designing an extension Amazon sellers don't uninstall
Redesigned Jungle Scout's browser extension used by 450K sellers. Monthly churn dropped 13%, product tracking rose 17%, and filter usage climbed 9%.
Review automation that earns reviews
Sellers who adopted the upgraded feature were 89% less likely to churn. One customer went from 355 reviews to 2,000+ in seven months
My process
Discovery: Listen first. My first step is always to go around the room, asking questions, chatting with stakeholders, taking notes, before I put pen to paper. Claude, Figma Make, and Stitch speed up the synthesis.
Define and design: Alignment over pixels. I use brainstorming tools and exercises to get the team on the same page. If the team isn't arguing about the right problem, no amount of UX can save it.
Know when to drop the process. The best outcomes come from knowing when to follow the framework, and when to walk away from it.
